Thirsty For Justice

…in many low-income countries around the world, 6,000 people a day die from contaminants and disease-causing bacteria in the water, or lack of water at all.

In John 4 Jesus approaches a Samaritan woman at a well for a drink of water because he’s thirsty. Jesus says that just as water is essential to life, the living water that He gives her is essential to spiritual life. God knows how necessary water is for our lives.

Enabling others to have this gift of clean water is crucial, and the international community has been working on improving access for people in situations where clean water is hard to obtain, who are usually the poorest or most marginalized in society.
