We have posted several resources (tambien en espanol) about the new policies affecting DREAMers.
There are two hotlines set up for those with questions – particularly those who have final deportation orders:
- USCIS hotline at 1-800-375-5283, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- ICE hotline at 1-888-351-4024, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Important: If you believe you are eligible for deferred action, DO NOT turn yourself in and DO NOT give money to anyone promising to get you legal status. There is no process for applying for deferred action yet (one is expected by mid-August). Check the listed resources for updates in coming weeks.
